East Ayrshire Council is to carry out essential road resurfacing works on the A713 at Bellsbank Road, Dalmellington, and the A713 South of Waterside at Chapel Row.
The work, which will begin on Monday 29 July, will last for approximately two weeks.
The works at the A713 Bellsbank Road, Dalmellington, will start on Monday 29 July for five days and will involve removing the existing road surface and resurfacing a 220m stretch of road.
The road will therefore be closed to through traffic and signed diversions will be in place via Gateside Road, High Main Street, B703 High Street, A713 Carsphairn Road and vice versa.
A 'No Waiting Order' will be in place throughout the diversion routes and there will be no access from B741 Main Street onto the A713 at Bellsbank Road.
The roadworks being carried out at A713 South of Waterside at Chapel Row, are expected to commence on Monday 5 August and last until Sunday 11 August.
It will involve resurfacing a 600m length of road.
Temporary two-way traffic signals will be installed and a convoy system will be in operation throughout the working day.
The road will be closed on Sunday 11 August and signed diversions will be in place via the B742 to Coylton, A70 towards Cumnock, A76 to New Cumnock, B741 to Dalmellington to rejoin the A713 and vice versa.
Delays are expected throughout the duration of these essential works.
The Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
