Work will begin today (16 July) and is expected to take around two weeks to complete.
The work involves reinstating the westbound lane of the B942 which collapsed due to heavy flooding late last year, while also resurfacing both lanes around the flood-damaged area.

A temporary road closure will be in place from the B942/A917 junction to the golf course estate entrance road in order to allow the works to be undertaken safely. A signed diversion route will be in place.
Elsewhere, buses will not be able to serve the stop on the B942, so a free shuttle service is being provided and will operate from Colinsburgh via Kilconquhar to Elie to meet with Service 95, and vice versa back to Colinsburgh.
The Council has said passengers should board this service from the bus stop outside the Primary School. A temporary timetable for the shuttle service has been posted in the bus shelter.
The road works have been programmed to minimise disruption to motorists, and the local authority has asked for patience and co-operation as the project gets underway.
