The first council houses to be built in Clackmannanshire for more than 30 years have been completed.
The homes were handed over by developers Hadden Construction.
The £1.9m project saw 16 new homes erected at The Orchard in Tullibody, while the conversion of the former Dalmore Centre in Alva will be finalised later this week.
The centre is being transformed into five amenity houses for the elderly, with four new flats being built within the centre's grounds.
Work on the Tullibody development began in March 2012, after the demolition of 19 disused garage blocks at the site.
Housing Convener, Councillor Les Sharp, said: "The last Council houses built for rent in Clackmannanshire was back in the 1980s, so the handing over of these homes ready and waiting for the new tenants is a very significant moment in our commitment to providing high quality, new affordable housing.
"I am extremely impressed by the new homes, which are all fitted with heating aimed at fuel energy saving, and finished to a very high quality. They will help address the imbalance we face between genuine housing needs and the availability of Council houses."
The total cost of the project was £1.9m, with the cost of The Orchard site part of the development being just over £1m.
The housing development in Tullibody is to be called The Maltings, following a consultation with the local community.
