Andrew Shepherd Construction Awarded Green Deal Installer Accreditation

Andrew Shepherd Construction Ltd has been awarded Green Deal Installer accreditation for EWI external wall insulation.

The Green Deal is an innovative financing mechanism that lets people pay for energy efficiency improvements through savings on their energy bills and has been launched in conjunction with the ECO energy company's obligation scheme. ECO will partly subsidise Green Deal installations for EWI providing funding to insulate solid-walled properties (internal and external wall insulation) and those with 'hard-to-treat' cavity walls.

This is not means-tested but can be used in conjunction with the Green Deal. The aim is to provide enough support to make these relatively expensive measures cost-effective. Installers of these energy efficiency products, in our case EWI external wall insulation must be accredited to PAS 2030.

The company is welcoming enquiries for installation work throughout the North East of Scotland.
