The Burnbrae Community benefits project with the Hillwood Youth and Recreational Club recently welcomed local sporting hero and former professional footballer Alec McLeish to site.

Alec McLeish made nearly 500 League appearances playing for Aberdeen and Scotland with his diverse managerial career including clubs such as Motherwell, Rangers, Birmingham City and Aston Villa. Alec is lending his support to the project as a former player of Hillwood Boys Club.

Stuart McCaffrey, Secretary of the Scottish Football Partnership recently contacted GRAHAM Construction to thank the team for their support during the development of the facility: "On behalf of myself and the Scottish Football Partnership board, I would like to thank GRAHAM Construction for the support you have given to the Hillwood Social and Recreational Trust changing container project. The benefit to the community will be incalculable, in terms of participation in football, quality of life, raising of aspirations and social cohesion."


GRAHAM Construction is working with the Sanctuary Housing Association to deliver a £200M four year framework covering the construction of residential developments and other supporting buildings throughout Scotland. Burnbrae is the largest of the initial three schemes and will comprise of 76 two-storey and four single-storey units with inclusive infrastructure and utilities, in a mixture of semi-detached and terrace units.
