LHC is to host a bidders’ day for those interested in tendering for the Timber Window and Door Products (TW3) framework arrangement in Scotland.
The non-profit, public sector procurement consortium has organised the event for January 21 at the LHC Scotland office in Edinburgh from 14:00.
The date ties in with the publication of the Contract Notice that week.
Participants will be invited to ask questions regarding the framework arrangement in order to gain a better understanding of the PQQ completion process.
Clive Feeney, Regional Manager for LHC Scotland, said: "We are getting ready to begin the tendering process to identify contractors who will be appointed on a regional basis.
"The successful companies selected in each region will be promoted to our database of member and user contacts including social housing providers and schools in the UK. These bodies have budgets of up to £60m to spend on components and services each year, with a total of £21m being spent on LHC window and door products last year.
"This is a great opportunity for national and local suppliers to be exposed to a huge range of public sector authorities, which can buy from them safe in the knowledge that they are compliant with OJEU and UK regulations.
"The bidders' day will be of great value to contractors and will provide clarity and transparency by ensuring all interested parties receive the same message.
"I would urge interested companies to book their places now to avoid disappointment as places will be given on a first come first served basis."
Those wishing to attend can register via email at mail@lhc.gov.uk mail@lhc.gov.uk or call 0131 248 3012.
