The Dunedin Canmore Housing development at Slateford Green has held an Open Day to celebrate two art projects.
The projects were undertaken by students from the Edinburgh College of Art and Edinburgh University Inter Media Department to celebrate the development’s 12th birthday.
The artistic endeavour came about as a result of art competition with the local Slateford Green Residents Association (SGRA).

The winning entry was 'The Erratic Boulder,' by Owen Ramsay and involved a 10 ton lump of Trachyte, which is the same substance as Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh, transformed into a climbing object for local children.
The second art project was the production of a 'family-friendly' Horror DVD.
Students Alyssa Flegg and Jessica Dunleavy created and made the film, thanks to the the involvement of young people from the Slateford Green Youth Café.
Alyssa and Jess's project was commended due to its involvement of people of all ages.
The film was viewed by a good number of residents on the open day.
The art project was funded by a City of Edinburgh Council Neighbourhood Grant and saw a number of local residents getting a chance to be involved in new projects in the area.
SGRA Treasurer Senga Flynn said: "We've put the art into participation."
