North Lanarkshire Draft Local Plan On Public View

A draft local plan for North Lanarkshire is on public view, following a consultation exercise.

Last month the council rubber-stamped changes to the plan following a formal examination by the Scottish Government Reporters.

These changes have now been made and the plan has been submitted to Scottish Ministers for their final agreement. When this is provided, the plan will be formally adopted and will become planning policy for the authority.

Members of the public can view copies of the Finalised Draft North Lanarkshire Local Plan here and in local libraries and key council offices - that is the Civic Centre at Motherwell, Kildonan Street in Coatbridge, and the environmental services office in Fleming House, Tryst Road, Cumbernauld.
