DM Hall, an independent Scottish firm of chartered surveyors, has significantly strengthened its management structure by appointing two new directors from within the firm.
David Cree has been promoted in the Glasgow South branch, while Steven Buist has been elevated to the role in Kirkcaldy.
A spokesperson for the firm said their appointment "illustrates once again the national firm's commitment to sustainably developing its business".
The new positions will involve the new directors taking increased responsibility for the management and development of their respective offices and departments, as well as enhancing the focus on business development.
David Cree, a graduate of Paisley University, has been promoted from associate in the Glasgow South branch, specialising in Home Reports and other residential surveys and valuations. He joined the DM Hall Irvine branch in 2002 and moved to Glasgow South three and a half years later.
He said: "I have been privileged to have had a fulfilling and exciting career with what I consider to be one of the most professional firms in the country, and I am deeply honoured to have been appointed as a director."
Steven Buist, who worked as an estate agent after graduation, has been promoted from associate in DM Hall's Kirkcaldy branch, also with a remit covering home reports and other residential surveys and valuations. He joined DM Hall more than 10 years ago in the Dunfermline branch before moving to Kirkcaldy, from where he now covers a large area of Fife.
He said: "DM Hall has a strong commitment to professionalism, client satisfaction and top quality work. I am delighted to have been asked to help take the firm forward."
Keith Jones, DM Hall's senior partner said: "These two dedicated professionals have already given sterling service to the firm and we are sure that they will contribute even more in their new and well-deserved roles."
