Blairs Windows have supplied all the timber windows to a new luxury hotel near Arrochar.
Set in 50 acres of stunning Scottish countryside, once the grounds of a long demolished mansion, the Ardgartan Hotel occupies an elevated position with panoramic views down Loch Long, whose shore is just 30 yards away.
From the rear of the hotel the outlook is dominated by the iconic Cobbler, one of the peaks that form the famous Arrochar Alps. The area is part of the Argyll Forest Park, a magnificent stretch of unspoiled countryside that was established as long ago as 1935 as an area of exceptional beauty.
The Blairs Double Swing Window is a high performance timber window and is used extensively throughout the hotel. The Blairs Double Swing window has the classic elegant styling of traditional sash windows, which is befitting the style and grandeur of Ardgarten Hotel, yet has many unique features such as safe cleaning and excellent wind and water tightness.
The window is also available as a fire escape window and can also be supplied to Secured By Design standards.
Allan French of Blairs commented: "We have the full range of test certification for both the Double Swing & The Double Swing Fire Escape Window. This includes weather and security testing. When you consider the combination of an airtight window and energy efficient glazing, the result is fantastic value for money and these windows are extremely cost effective when compared to traditional sash & case windows."
