Lovell – which is marking its tenth anniversary in Scotland this year – celebrated in style at the CIH Scotland Annual Conference and Exhibition, held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, Glasgow recently.
As well as being the main sponsor of the event, Glasgow-based Lovell won the accolade of Best Large Stand, beating competition from more than 80 other organisations. The company also held a successful workshop looking at the creation of mixed-tenure estates through long-term asset-backed funding models.
The workshop was presented by Lovell national business development director Peter Quinn and Colin Rossiter, head of social infrastructure for sister company, Morgan Sindall Investments.
"This is a highly significant year for the business, having reached the milestone of ten years in Scotland," said Alan Taylor, Lovell regional director in Scotland. "Over that time we have created more than 2,500 new affordable homes, and refurbished 28,000 existing properties. None of this would have been possible without the support of our clients, residents and our other partners. It was great to have the chance to meet up with them at the CIH event, and together celebrate the success of our projects."
Lovell is marking its ten-year anniversary in Scotland with a year of special community initiatives, designed to provide support and help for local organisations and charities.
