The second of a series of three talks designed to help businesses in Irvine Bay learn more of the benefits regeneration work is bringing to the area takes place next week, 8th November.
The talks have been organised by Irvine Bay Regeneration Company to provide local firms with a better insight into the positive impact the work being carried out in the five towns is having.
The “talks business” event takes place at the Michael Lynch Centre in Ardrossan on Tuesday, 8th November, when businesses will be updated on work in Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston – including the transformational plans for Ardrossan North Shore, the marina and quayside, The Grange Business Centre, Stevenston and the success of the Saltcoats station building. Doors open from 5.30pm, with the event beginning at 6pm and running till 7pm.
The third and final talk is on Tuesday 6th December at the Harbour Arts Centre, Irvine, and will provide details on plans for the Bridgegate area, Bridgegate House, Trinity Church and the new sports centre, as well as the major plans for The Ayrshire golf complex and Irvine Harbourside. The one-hour event gets underway at 12.30pm, with doors opening at noon
The first event took place in Kilwinning in early October, and several businesses turn out to discuss plans for the town.
Patrick Wiggins, Chief Executive of Irvine Bay Regeneration Company, said: “We have found these meetings with local businesses very useful and very well attended. We want to work wherever possible with the local business community to ensure they know about our work and our plans, and that they are in a position to benefit from them whenever possible.”
