Kier Scotland Appoints New BDM

Kier Scotland has appointed Gordon Reid as its Business Development Manager (BDM). Gordon has over 30 years' experience in the construction industry, initially as a quantity surveyor and latterly as a project manager.

Over the last 12 years Gordon has contributed to the management of two significant Scottish professional services businesses and has fulfilled the role of honorary treasurer for the Glasgow Institute of Architects. More recently, he was co-opted as a member of the board of management of Langside College.


Gordon's involvement will help sustain the buoyant workload which Kier Scotland is enjoying. This has been boosted by its recent appointment to the framework to deliver the second tranche of primary schools for South Lanarkshire Council. Kier's team, which includes RMJM Architects, has already successfully delivered nine new schools and is currently completing three, as part of the first tranche of the programme.
