Trainee Appointment Expands Cairn Lettings Team To Magnificent Seven

The appointment of Nicola McCarthy as a trainee letting agent takes Glasgow-based Cairn Estate and Letting Agency’s letting team to a magnificent seven members of staff as the firm expands to cope with its busiest year to date.

Immediately prior to joining Cairn, 26 year old McCarthy, from the East End of Glasgow, worked in an estate agency following spells in the motor retail and telecommunications sectors.

Of her appointment, McCarthy said: “I’m delighted to have joined Cairn at such a busy time and thoroughly enjoying my training to become a letting agent and property manager.”


Susan Collins, head of lettings at Cairn, said: “Nicola’s appointment takes our lettings team to seven at a time when we’ve been enjoying our busiest year to date, with record-breaking numbers of properties being let at break-neck speed on the back of continued difficulties in securing mortgages leading demand for rental properties to outstrip demand for house purchases.”
