Shepherd Sells Unit on Perth’s Inveralmond Industrial Estate to Balhousie Glazing for £70,000
Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has sold a 1140 sq ft industrial unit at Perth’s Inveralmond Industrial Estate Perth to Balhousie Glazing for £70,000.
Planning permission has also been secured by Shepherd’s client McGarrie & Barclay for the development of a further three new build units which will be made available for sale and lease. These will complement the existing units of 1140 sq ft, 3480 sq ft and 5,650 sq ft which are currently available for sale.
Inveralmond Industrial Estate is an established trading estate serving the Perth area, situated alongside the A9 western by-pass and enjoying direct access to the local and national road network. The property is prominently positioned at the junction of Inveralmond Road and Ruthvenfield Road within the centre of the estate.
Jonathan Reid, partner at Shepherd, said: “The sale of Unit 5 illustrates the appeal of these premises to small manufacturers operating within Perthshire. These units have been made available through the subdivision and refurbishment of an extensive warehouse facility built during the 1980s upon a two acre site in order to provide a range of warehouse and workshop units.
“The proposed new build units will be prominently located around the perimeter of the site and provide modern accommodation suitable for a variety of operators.”
