Residents are being invited to join in a Community Consultation Day in Bannockburn's Ladywell Park.

A call has gone out for Saturday 16 April when residents can give their thoughts and opinions to help shape the park’s future.

Halcrow Landscape Architects have been appointed by Stirling Council to prepare a Park Master Plan and as part of that process a Community Consultation Day is being held.

During the event, which runs from 1pm to 4pm, Stirling Council’s Youth Services will be carrying out a park litter pick in support of the National Litter Campaign and the Council’s Play Services will run ‘Play in the Park’.


A recent park masterplan survey has helped shape some Draft Master Plan proposals and the community consultation day will allow park users to review and comment on the emerging proposals and contribute to the Final Park Masterplan.

Stirling Council Portfolio Holder with responsibility for Environment Councillor Jim Thomson said: "I would encourage people to come along and give their views at the consultation event. The feedback will provide a valuable collection of people’s views and ideas on how they wish to see the park develop and will be used in the Park Master Plan."
