A report to the city council's housing, Dundee Contract Services and environment services committee on Monday recommends approval of a number of tenders for improvement work to more than 600 homes.
Committee convener Councillor Jimmy Black said: "Our homes across Dundee are benefiting from the council's commitment to meet our legal obligation for the Scottish Housing Quality Standard by 2015.

"These latest contracts represent a further substantial investment in council housing in Dundee and include roof renewals, upgraded kitchens and bathrooms and heating improvements.
"There have already been major improvements to our housing stock over the last few years and we are determined that this will continue so that our tenants can enjoy modern, more energy efficient homes.
"We know that tenants are highly satisfied with the work that is being carried out and the work involved in the improvements means that we are also sustaining local jobs."
The tenders for approval include developments in Hilltown, Linlathen, Menzieshill, Camperdown and Craigie.
