Angus Council has announced its first commercial lease of 2011.
The authority has just concluded a new lease at Montrose Business Centre, Broomfield Industrial Estate.
Biarchi Safety Ltd has moved into Unit 11, giving them a new base to operate from. The centre is the business' headquarters, and is the base for three employees.
Councillor David May, Angus Council’s spokesman on economic development, said: “We are pleased to welcome Biarchi Safety Ltd to Montrose Business Centre. Montrose Business Centre is a prime location, and will be an ideal base for Biarchi Safety Ltd to expand and thrive. The council will continue to rigorously market its business premises across the county, and support local business to realise their ambitions.”
Craig Birse-Archbold from Biarchi Safety Ltd said: “Our new office is ideal for our needs, and I am sure it will serve us well in the years ahead.”
Biarchi Safety Ltd specialise in health and safety advice, fire risk assessment, construction, design and management co-ordination, as well as safety coaching services.
Montrose Business Centre was completed in 2003, and ever since has enjoyed high occupancy rates and helped a number of small and new-start businesses establish themselves in the area, reflecting the current high demand for small office and workshop premises in the area. Other tenants at the centre include Loch Duart, Wilco Cabs, Anderson Fire, AB Audio Systems, Red Quartet Ltd and Watts the Butcher.
