Shepherd, one of the largest independent firms of chartered surveyors in the UK, has promoted former head of building surveying Graeme McDonald and former associate Jonathan Reid to partnership level as part of an ambitious growth strategy.

Gerry McCluskey, Shepherd commercial partner in Dundee, said: “These promotions are very well deserved and I am delighted for both of my colleagues. Jonathan has assisted us expand the commercial property department business in Dundee, Angus, Perthshire and Fife since he joined the firm in 1999, in particular across Perthshire and Fife when he personally took over the role of providing advice out of our Perth office in 2005.


“Graeme joined the firm in 2003 and has since grown our building consultancy division which now provides a national service via a team of building surveyors based in Inverness, Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dumfries. Both will continue to add real value to the firm.”

Shepherd offers a multi disciplinary property service to include valuation, commercial agency, building surveying, rent reviews, development and investment consultancy, rating and property management.
