Chair of the City of Dunfermline Area Committee, Councillor Joe Rosiejak, said: “We’ve been able to use this money where it’s needed most and where people want to see it spent. We have tried to strike the right balance, targeting the money to improve the physical environment, projects for young people and encouraging civic pride while at the same time making sure that we continue to develop community engagement and support services to meet local needs.
"We have also shown a real commitment to tackling poverty, deprivation and inequality by making full use of the money from the Fairer Scotland Fund.”
