One of Scotland’s leading workplace design firm as agreed a deal to become an official sponsor of one of Edinburgh’s top amateur rugby clubs.
Space Solutions, which has enjoyed impressive growth despite the recession, has agreed a four-figure deal to become the new First XV shirt sponsor of Boroughmuir Rugby Club for the 2010/11 Premier Division season.
Derek Binnie, Director at Space Solutions, said: “We are delighted to give our support to Boroughmuir Rugby Club and look forward to seeing the team in action over the coming season.
“We have sponsored their annual sevens tournament in the past and have attended many of the club’s corporate events, so we know Boroughmuir RFC very well. We have always been particularly impressed with their hard work in the local community, which includes an excellent midi mini section and their development officers who support youth rugby in the city.
“The club also supports a number of very important causes including Marie Curie Cancer Care, and with a lot of hard work they raised more than £10,000 for the charity last year. We are delighted to be associated with a club with such a great team ethos and spirit.”
Mark Furnivall, Director of Boroughmuir Rugby Club, added: “We are delighted to have agreed this sponsorship deal with Space Solutions and look forward to having the firm’s logo proudly displayed on our shirts for the season ahead.
“Space Solutions is an extremely progressive company that shares a lot of ideals with Boroughmuir Rugby Club. It also has firmly established roots in Edinburgh and is committed to supporting local communities in the city, so this is a perfect sponsor for us.
“Hopefully the new shirts will inspire us to victory and Space Solutions will see us gather more silverware at the end of the season.”
