An Aberdeenshire company has announced a number of appointments following a period of company restructuring.
The Oil Technics Group, which has three subsidiary companies – Oil Technics Ltd, Oil Technics Fire Fighting Products Ltd and Bio Technics Ltd - has welcomed two new dedicated sales managers to allow the group to further concentrate on the separate sectors in which it operates.
The group, which currently employs over 35 people at its Gourdon-headquarters, has recently seen a marked increase in sales and opportunities within the oil and gas sector as well as the environmental cleaning and hygiene industries, which has lead to the appointments.
Debbie Amos, 37, has joined the company as General Sales Manager for Oil Technics and will be responsible for coordinating all offshore sales for products such as oil degreasers, rig washes, absorbents, precision cleaning and fire fighting foam and foam testing services.
Joining the firm’s environmental cleaning division, Bio Technics Ltd, is Angus Kennedy, 42, who will take up the position of General Sales Manager. Angus will be responsible for coordinating sales of the company’s janitorial and hygiene ranges as well as launching a number of new products, including chlorine free AntiBak FG Tablets for the catering, facility management and veterinary industries.
David Evans, Executive Manager with the Oil Technics Group, believes the appointments have come at a crucial time for the company.
Mr Evans said: “The latest appointments come during a time of company restructuring which has seen the creation of dedicated sales facilities for each company under the Oil Technics umbrella.
“The new structure will ensure the company can be far more responsive to customer demands as well as bringing our growing range of products to market in a shorter period of time.
“We felt, with the increasing demand for Oil Technics products, and our hopes for future Bio Technics projects, it was an ideal time to establish a dedicated sales team to help us ensure that the investment in our new products was fully utilised.”
The Oil Technics Group is an environmental technology company with three manufacturing divisions – oil degreasing, spill response and bio remediation chemicals; environmentally safe fire fighting foams and biological cleaning and medical hygiene products.
