Eco Pressure Clean, a dynamic new company set up by experienced Scottish business man Keith Edwards, will clean almost any external hard surface safely using controlled high pressure water and no chemicals.
He was contacted by the Scottish Poetry Library, www.spl.org.uk to provide an estimate for cleaning the outside forestair and terrace area.
"It was very slippery in wet weather and an urgent matter as it is an H&S concern for our staff and visitors," he said.
In just a few hours ECO Pressure Clean had removed the algae and in-grained dirt that had accumulated over the years on the outside areas. Post clean SPL opted for an Algo Bio Inhibitor coating. This is a non hazardous that removes and inhibits future growth of algae, organic growth on a multitude of surfaces, plus the ability to prevent re-growth for up to 3 years.
Mr Edwards, together with his team, will target both domestic and commercial applications with their ECO cleaning system: "We have used the system to clean monoblock driveways, patios, Old Town basements and steps in Edinburgh, decking and we recently completed the clean and re-sand of 1sq.km of block paving at a Borders property."
ECO recently became the first Resiblock registered installer for Midlothian, East Lothian, Perthshire and Stirlingshire they also cover West Lothian and Fife. Monoblock driveways, sandstone and concrete ECO use Resiblock products to seal after cleaning, the results lasting up to 5 years. ECO repair and renovate tarmac after cleaning.
The company is experiencing changes in buyers attitudes; clients want safe sustainable solutions that are child, pets, plant and ECO safe – their motto “Cleaning That Does Not Cost the Earth”.
ECO operates throughout Scotland from its base in Edinburgh and has already set-up a number of maintenance contracts where a regular visit ensures outside surfaces not only look their best but are safe.
