Research, development and advice consultancy Archial Sustainable Futures has appointed Niall Gibson as a sustainability consultant to provide low carbon design advice and technical support for clients and their design teams.

Of his appointment Mr Gibson said: "I am delighted to join Archial Sustainable Futures at such an exciting time for sustainability within the architectural profession and look forward to bringing my experience with renewable technologies, energy efficiency, site analysis and selection and thermal modelling to bear on a range of projects across the UK and overseas."
John Easton, head of Archial Sustainable Futures, said: “Niall joins us at a time of rapid expansion as we gear up to manage heightened demand for our services. The volume of our direct consultancy work is expanding sharply, along with our involvements in research and development with academic, industry, and government partners.
“But perhaps even more crucial is the work that increased capacity will allow us to do to support colleagues from our sister companies, Archial Architects and Alsop Sparch, to support their steady growth here in the UK and the more vigorous expansion of their business in the Middle East and Asia. Niall and other forthcoming additions will be central to enabling those goals."
