Ayrshire estate agents Donald Ross have taken full advantage of the recent revival in the housing market, and enjoyed a very successful first few months of 2010.
Managing director Steven Miller commented: "At Donald Ross we have had our busiest start to the year since 2007, the first quarter looks very good indeed. High quality desirable homes remain in strong demand, which has resulted in healthy competition and numerous closing dates over the last few weeks."
Part of this success might be explained by the UK economy emerging from the recession, but part also could be the result of a new marketing campaign, planned and carried out by Ayr-based creative agency Paligap.
Donald Ross initially approached Paligap in June 2009 because they wanted their property brochures to be professionally designed and to showcase their properties to as high a standard as possible.
They also wanted to work with a local company, which they could form a partnership with.
After seeing the quality of Paligap’s design work they also decided to redevelop their website using the same high standard of design to market their properties online.
Their new website was launched in January 2010.
Paligap business manager Lorna Gibson commented: "We always enjoy working with local companies, especially when it’s with one of Ayrshire’s most recognised brands. Donald Ross has great brand heritage and we have done our best to take that forward into these new forms of communication."
Donald Ross Estate Agents managing director Steven Miller concluded: "As a local independent business, it was of paramount importance to us that we engaged a local company well equipped to deal with all of the various requirements and challenges we face within our business.
"After my initial meeting with Paligap it quickly became clear that Paligap were the only choice. Their creative approach and excellent service has allowed us to deliver unrivalled service to all of our clients."
