Businesses and local people attending the Annual Public Meeting of Irvine Bay Regeneration Company will have the opportunity to learn more about some key projects.
As well as Chief Executive Patrick Wiggins’ report on progress achieved during the year, the meeting will also have a number of information points and mini-exhibitions giving detailed information on a whole range of developments in the area.
These will include:
* Plans for the multi-million pound golf complex 'The Ayrshire'.
* Information on Irvine’s Beach Park, coastal beacons, Ardrossan quayside and north beach, and Irvine Harbour, all under the banner of 'Our coast'.
* Work being done on Annickbank Business Park, Riverside Business Park, Stevenston Business Centre, plans for NACCO and the Small Business Property Fund will be highlighted under 'Business infrastructure'.
* Town centre regeneration will be spotlighted, with information on Kilwinning Main Street, Bridgegate House and Trinity Church in Irvine, Saltcoats shopfront improvement scheme pilot and the station building, and Jack Millers, the Harbour Bar and The Lyric in Ardrossan.
Senior staff from Irvine Bay and some of its key development partners will be manning the stands to help deal with any queries.
The public meeting takes place at the Menzies Hotel, Annick Road, Irvine, from 10.30am on Thursday March 25th. It will be on the theme "Making a real difference in Irvine Bay" and will be chaired by Baroness Margaret Ford, Chair of the company.
