HBXL, a developer of construction software for builders and developers has enlisted the expertise of DCSL Software to create a manageable e-commerce application to drive the development of its online retail presence.
Built by DCSL Software to meet HBXL's specific requirements, the new website will enable HBXL's marketing team to easily manage, edit and update the online store.
HBXL provides small to medium sized building firms, developers and other trades with the latest software for every stage of a building project - from estimating and project management, through to CAD drawing, health and safety management and professional contracts.
HBXL's suite of software products enables builders to save time drawing-up plans, estimating jobs and providing professional quotes for their customers.
DCSL Software is an IT Solutions specialist, providing web-based tailored database-driven applications to solve a range of client-specific business problems. As a certified Sitefinity partner, DCSL Software delivers a range of integrated web-based solutions using the ASP.NET based content management system.
Anthony Botibol, Marketing Manager at HBXL explains the importance of upgrading their online existence: "Having an online shop has now become a must-have for most retailers, though it is also vital to provide customers with a secure payment facility to safeguard card details and prevent the ever-present threat of online fraud."
Botibol added: "We realised that we were potentially missing out on sales as a result of visitors being redirected to an external payment site, which can often be confusing or provoke customer concern.
"With the help of DCSL Software we are now able to offer customers an integrated online payment option in which we expect to see sales increase and also facilitate our business to grow as we become established as a prominent e-tailer in the market."
HBXL recognised the importance of improving the company website in order to attract and facilitate the attention of customers browsing the site.
