Chaired by Susie Thornton, partner and member of the firm's planning and development team, the event on 3rd March 2010 includes speakers from government environmental initiatives and the construction industry.

Susie Thornton, whose practice involves her in sustainability issues, said: "Waste management is an important issue in the construction industry and we believe we have a line up of very eminent speakers on this subject.

"Best practice in terms of waste management and sustainability is not only driven by climate change regulation but by increasing evidence that it can cut costs. Our speakers will provide a practical guide to how cutting waste can cut costs."
