Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels has been instructed by Blair Nimmo and Gary Fraser of KPMG, Joint Administrators to EBH Limited to market and sell the 170-bedroom Novotel at Edinburgh Park in Edinburgh.
Alan Creevy, Director with Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Scotland, who is handling the sale in Glasgow along with Michelle Webb in the London office, commented: "The Novotel is essentially a brand new purpose-built hotel which opened for trade in early 2008 and provides 170 high-specification guest bedrooms including six executive rooms and two suites, each designed to meet the exacting standards of a new generation of Novotel hotels."
Novotel is Accor's international upper midscale brand, renowned for its excellent product and quality of service. Novotel Edinburgh Park - a four-star, contemporary hotel - is one of 32 stylish Novotel hotels in the UK, all situated close to business hubs and tourist attractions.
The hotel has 96 cover restaurant / bar, five meeting rooms and a leisure facility with swimming pool, steam room and gymnasium.
The hotel is located in Edinburgh Park, with surrounding occupiers including Aegon, BT, Diageo, HBOS, HSBC and is approximately eight minutes from Edinburgh International Airport. It is also adjacent to Edinburgh Park station, with frequent train services to the core city centre. A new tram network will link into Edinburgh station, providing further accessibility and the hotel has its own dedicated car parking facilities.
Alan Creevy added: "This is a fantastic purpose-built hotel with all the ingredients required by modern and discerning guests. The hotel is a 4-star operation and we have no doubt there will be very significant interest in the property."
Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels is also marketing the Point Hotel in Edinburgh which has recently been placed on the open market at an asking price of offers over £15.75 million.
