Location Medical Services (LMS) has been trading since 1996 and is based in Shepperton Film Studios (where they operate a medical centre within the studio). To date LMS have provided nurses, paramedics and ambulance support services to over 500 feature films, TV productions, commercials and music videos across the UK and Europe. The expertise built up by Location Medical Services over the past 20 years means that we can always meet the needs of our film & TV production clients, from paramedic cover for large stunt scenes to day to day medical and nursing care for large busy film units. Although Location Medical is involved with much of the large feature Film production in the UK and routinely works with large scale productions and high profile cast and crews - we are equally happy working with small TV or commercial shoots. Our experience and professionalism means that we will always respect confidentiality and intellectual copyright of our clients.

Event Medical Support
Location Medical has an established reputation as one of the UK’s most established and experienced suppliers of professional medical staff for events.

Experience: We cover hundreds of events every year, from small indoor events to major central London public events for 80,000 plus. Medical companies often claim to have "events experience" when they are sub-contracted onto events or work alongside other organisations but Location Medical Services can provide details and references for hundreds of events of all types & sizes that have selected Location Medical as the sole medical contractor.

Professional Standards: We are one very few event medical specialists to provide qualified and experienced NHS medical staff at all events. Not first aiders, volunteers or self trained “EMT’s” with only 2 weeks training!

We are fully registered with, and regulated by, the Care Quality Commission for the provision of professional healthcare and ambulance services in England.

Ambulances
Location Medical operates modern, well maintained, purpose built ambulances and we equip them to full current NHS specification. This means that we carry full paramedic and advanced life support equipment and drugs on board every vehicle. All LMS ambulance crews are currently certified IHCD qualified paramedics and ambulance technicians with extensive NHS '999' experience

4 Wheel Drive "Off Road" Ambulances & Paramedic Units
For remote locations, grass site events, "off road" events or anywhere where medical teams may need to access a casualty off tarmac - we can provide fully equipped 4x4 Medical Support Units and Ambulances with "off road" capabilities.

Particularly suitable for equine events, motocross or sporting events on grass tracks- we know that its not enough to just turn up with an ambulance - we need to make sure it can get to a potential casualty anywhere on your event site in an emergency.

Film & Television Medical Support
Location Medical is a unique specialist company founded in 1997 and based in Shepperton Studios. We are not a private ambulance company or a first aid organisation – we are film & TV specialists with over 500 film, TV commercial and music production credits and 2 decades of experience.

We are flattered by the number of companies that try to imitate us but, at the end of the day, whether its unit nurses or set medics for everyday filming, specialist advice and provision for those ‘weird and wonderful’ shoots and locations or specialist paramedic cover for high risk stunt scenes... experience delivering film medical services is everything.

Unit Medics & Nurses
Location Medical specialises in providing qualified set medics nurses or unit nurses for daily bookings or long term attachment to film units.

Our medics are typically qualified RGN's, experienced ambulance technicians or registered paramedics - all with "front line" experience in the NHS and plenty of experience in film and TV work.

Our unit nurses and set medics will always be equipped to deal quickly and effectively with both serious accidents, and minor injuries, illnesses and ailments on set.

Unit Paramedics & Ambulances
The gold standard of medical safety - having a fully equipped emergency ambulance on standby allows any casualty to receive expert treatment on set in the event of an accident and, if required, transport to hospital can be provided without delay.
Location Medical Ambulances are modern, purpose built vehicles fully equipped to current N.H.S. ambulance standards. All vehicles carry full advanced life support equipment, and emergency drugs, and ambulance crews are highly experienced qualified staff.
