If only I could give a 0 star to Prime Drains LTD. Do not use this company, they are unreliable and do not say what they say they will do. They will take your money and after that will take no responsibility to see the work through. If you want to know more read below.
Basically, I had a build over application with southern water and they had put me in a queue to have my CCTV survey done within 15working days. My build was put on hold and so I decided to get a private CCTV Survey done so I could get this moving. Southern Water agreed to refund me £200.00 if I had building survey done privately. Here my nightmare with Prime Drains LTD starts.
14 Sept- Morning- Call Prime Drains- They can send someone out today for £395.00 and will get the report, pictures and footage to me in 3-5working days
14 Sept – Afternoon – Jack the engineer turns up spends 15mins max, invoice is sent to my phone which is paid immediately £474.00 because of course it wasn’t VAT inclusive.
25 Sept – 7working days after, I call to chase the report and pics. I get this report that tell you absolutely nothing, no pictures, no footage. They will be sending me the footage and pictures later today when Jack comes in. They had not seen Jack or got anything from him, how they could send me a report was just UNBELIEVABLE.
26 Sept -8 Working days- I call. They promise me it will be in today. Nothing.
28 Sept – 10 Working Days- I call and email. Same promise as before, we are just waiting on Jack.
I give them time to get this footage and pictures or come up with a solution. I think maybe am being annoying. Maybe they will call me.
2ND Oct. – 12 Working days – I call back, I tell them, I need a solution today. They promise me they will definitely send it to me today. Well, aren’t I the fool. You see how they never call back.
3RD Oct –13 Working Days- I call again. Like the gullible customer I have become, more promises, no action. Besides I paid with a debit card, so will be hard to get my money back. I call Southern water to see if they can do the survey after all. Well, I was put in the back of the queue, for another 15working days from 3rd.
4th Oct – 14 Working days I call to chase this report again. I am promised if I do not get the report by 15:00, they will give my money back.
5th Oct -15 Working Days- I call them again 9:00AM. Yes, I am stupidly trusting. They will send it in today, Jack is coming in as they are no longer providing him with work. Well Jack doesn’t care, he works for several different companies (he volunteered that info ). 17:15 I send an email and ask for my money back immediately.
6th Oct -16 Working days – I get an email response- We are sorry it all happened, it’s Jack’s fault and please send us your bank account details, we will get accounts to send back your money. I respond immediately with details.
9the October – I get another private company, ClearPath Drainage who come in, spend an hour on my drains, send a comprehensive CCTV survey report with pics on the same day and I pay only after I have the report (£365.00 vat inc).
11th Oct -I send an email to chase the refund and get back a response back from a lady who says she will chase accounts for the money.
18-Oct -Still don’t have my money back. I checked before I posted this review
