About us
Paramount’s ethos has always been one of sustainability so consequently Paramount has a substantial focus on the use of timber, Glulam, Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and other engineered woods. Our knowledge in this field is extensive and we frequently try and get involved at early design stages with architects to try and advise on what is possible in timber. Timber aside we are of course able to engineer anything from concrete to glass using the latest and most powerful software on the market to do so.

Design process and the role of detailing.
We use the latest in computer modelling techniques including 3 dimensional frame analysis and design software Masterseries to provide fast and accurate designs. We also use finite element analysis for specialist areas of design.
