General Practise Overview
Project Quantity Surveyors Ltd are committed to provide a competent and professional service for all clients. To date Clients are drawn from a wide variety of the industry as detailed in the Company Brochure. All works undertaken are under the control of the senior members of the company who liaise with the particular Quantity Surveyor on site.
We see one of the most important aspects as being careful with financial control and reporting frequently to the client to enable him to make any necessary budgetary adjustments.
We bring to each Client not only professional qualifications but many years of practical experience. All works are in accordance with the Housing Association Guide – as issued by the Department of Social Development Housing Branch.
The Company has developed from the traditional role of clients Quantity Surveyors to providing a unique service to principal Contractors and sub contractors etc in tendering, final accounts, valuations, disputes, contractual claims etc
Planning Supervisors
With the onset of the detailed regulations regarding Health and Safety on site the preparation of a detailed Pre-Tender Plan is essential. Before works commence on site the Principal contractor must prepare and agree with the Planning Supervisor their reply by way of the Construction Phase Plan.
During the works we ensure that the regulations are being observed on site and method statements prepared as necessary. A detailed Health and Safety file is required prior to final payment for the convenience of the end user.
Project Management
We see the role of the Project Manager as being between the Client and the Principal Contractor and the various Consultants.
To ensure an efficient Contract it is essential to ensure that the Principal Contractor has all the information that he needs and to check this we meet with the Consultants and carefully examine all the production information.
On site we frequently monitor progress and ensure that all documentary and photographic records are being maintained.
