GET Gas Training

Here at GET Gas Training Centre we offer a friendly and professional service for all your Domestic and Non-Domestic (Commercial & Catering) Gas Training & Assessment needs at our LOGIC approved centre in Glasgow.

In addition to our Domestic and Non-Domestic Gas Training we have specific Gas Safety Awareness courses for Social Housing and Private Landlords.

At GET we now offer Electrical Courses such as 18th Edition, DEI (Domestic Electrical Installer), Periodic Inspecting & Testing, Initial Inspecting & Testing and In-service Inspecting & Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT Testing).

We offer flexible training, assessments and opening hours to suit you or your business needs with our training staff who are fully qualified and experienced within the gas and electrical industry.

• ACS Courses (Domestic NG, Non-Domestic NG - Commercial and Non-Domestic NG - Catering)
  The Nationally Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) is the industry recognised and accepted route for operatives to gain a certificate of competence, needed to become a member of the Gas Safe Register. ACS covers all areas of gas work including domestic NG, LPG, commercial heating, commercial catering, commercial laundry, meter installation and emergency service provision. The scheme is overseen by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).


• New Entrant to Gas Industry
  For all new entrants that come onto our programme you will get a work placement with Gas Call Services and on-site mentoring.
  
  The Logic Certification Managed Learning Programme (MLP) is a training programme designed to meet the requirements for Category 2 and 3 entrants to the Nationally Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) for gas, as detailed in ACS Guidance Note 8 and 8A.
  
  The MLP programme consists of both centre training and 'on the job' work experience, gained whilst under the supervision of a registered gas installer, acting as the candidates mentor.


• Associated Courses - Electrical, Health & Safety, Water Regs, Renewables, Gas Safety and Gas Auditing
  Here at the GET Training Centre we provide additional courses to extend an operatives scope of works and for Social Housing & Private Landlords.
