I employed Mike back in 2022 to install a flat roof on an outbuilding. For 2 years we had issues with water coming in around the windows and doors. Mike told us that it was a gutter issue. We fixed the gutters immediately, but we still had water getting into the property. After the extreme rain fall late last year, we ask Mike back to the property to inspect the roof. After taking core samples of the roof covering, we found that water had made its way under the GRP (roof covering). We then decided to ask the manufacturer of the GRP product to attend site along with Mike and the builder to see if we could find the source of the issue. The manufacturer found that Mike had installed the product incorrectly and there for the roof had to be done all over again. Unfortunately, now that water has made its way under the GRP the insulation boards are now damaged and need to be replace as well according to the manufacturer of the boards. I have tried several times to contact Mike via email, but he no longer communicates and has left us with over 30k worth of damage to the building. I would think twice about employing his company to carry out any roofing work you may have, that’s if you want it done properly.
