Established in 1980 by Michael and Mona Masterson, Getjar Ltd has enjoyed continued success and growth throughout London and the Home Counties. Getjar specialise in various facets within the construction industry, including groundworks, reinforced concrete frames and permanent works design.

Getjar Ltd. is a specialist construction company based in Hertfordshire. We’re known for providing reinforced concrete frame & groundwork solutions for a variety of clients across London and the South East. Since our inception in 1980, we have expanded to include a variety of other specialties. This includes alternatives to reinforced concrete frames, innovative construction processes, temporary works, and plant hire.

We are constantly updating our accreditations to stay within compliance with current construction guidelines. We’ve also been granted a variety of awards for our work across the industry, and have amassed an ever-expanding portfolio of case studies which demonstrate our commitment and high standard of quality.

Precast
At Getjar, we are able to offer a whole range of high-quality pre-cast solutions, thanks to our modern pre-cast facility located close to London. Our pre-cast applications include structural members for buildings, such as concrete column and beam construction as well as stair flights and landings.

Groundworks
We can support the preparation of a project through planning and delivering the enabling works, as well as the construction of new basements and foundations, including excavations, drainage and external works packages.

RC & PT Frames
We established Getjar’s reputation on our reinforced concrete frame capabilities. Since then, we’ve expanded our portfolio to include post-tensioning, pre-cast and hybrid structures using sustainable design and materials.

Glencoe
Glencoe is a division of Masterson Holdings, and serves as an in-house plant hire service which supports construction across our business. We have a comprehensive range of products and solutions available for a variety of jobs, especially the creation of Temporary Works for complex builds.

Value Engineering
We’ve refined our techniques over the years, and are able to offer alternative materials and construction methods to suit tight, efficient budgets.

Piling
Getjar Piling can give your next project the deep and robust foundations it needs to succeed. We consult on and offer the best services for you, from bearing piles to retaining walls and multiple piling techniques. We offer everything you need to get a project off the ground.

Structural Alterations
Getjar offers a wide range of services to assist with making structural alterations, from advice or temporary works for preconstruction to salvage and demolition.
