AT LLT ltd we aim to provide a professional training operating standard for lorry loader operators. Having 30 years experience in MHE training starting off on the basics of Forklift Operator Training and working up to diggers, dumpers and of course lorry loaders. Operating within the HSE guidelines and recognised accrediting body’s like ITSSAR and NPORS and finally allied with ALLMI for the last 19 years following the additional guidelines for lorry loader (HIAB) operation using BS7121 part 4. ALLMI’s training standard and reputation on building sites and in the industry is second to none and in lots of cases it is a requirement for the delivery standard.

Courses

Operator Training
The ALLMI Operator course consists of 15 modules and is either one or two days in duration (depending on whether the candidate is a novice or experienced operator). Both the one- and two-day courses culminate in a written and practical examination.

The assessment process is set by ALLMI Ltd and administered by the instructor. It consists of two theoretical assessment and one practical. The theoretical assessment consists of a set of core multiple choice and ‘open’ questions, as well as questions which relate specifically to the crane attachment being used. The practical assessment is designed to identify whether the candidate has the appropriate practical skills to operate a lorry loader safely and efficiently.

Slinger Signaller Training
The ALLMI Slinger/Signaller course content is very comprehensive and so cardholders are able to use their skills when performing Slinger / Signaller duties with any type of lifting equipment, not just lorry loaders. The Slinger / Signaller course consists of 13 modules. The course direction is one day for experienced candidates and a minimum of two days for novice candidates. A maximum of four candidates can attend a course. Both courses culminate in a written and practical examination.
