Professional Packing
We provide export packing solutions, with facilities that include a lift capacity of 100 tonnes and door opening of 100 ft wide by 30 ft high, so we can easily handle any outsized and heavy cargo. All of our work is undertaken in accordance with ISO performance regulations, and we use the most advance packing methods available. So, if your cargo needs any form of export packing, loading, skidding or lashing, we will be happy to give you a competitive quote.
Self Packing
At UK Container sales we can provide you with containers, delivered to your premises by craned vehicle, to be stood to ground for self-loading. Also, we can also provide you with containers at one of our container depots, allowing you to organise and pack goods to your own requirements.
International Shipping
We have long-standing partnerships with the world's major shipping lines who offer FCL (Full Container Load) & LCL (Less than Container Load) to all worldwide destinations. This enables us to offer our clients savings and space on all the main trade routes, while still providing that personal service.

Are shipping containers expensive to purchase?
For the obvious reasons, used containers are cheaper to purchase than new units. At UK Container Sales we can give you the most competitive prices for both new and used containers.
How durable are the storage containers?
A new container purchased from UK Container Sales with maintenance once every ten years should last upwards of 50 years. This time, the scale would obviously vary on used storage containers, but any unit purchased from us would have many years of storage life, due to the top quality build of each unit.
How secure are shipping containers?
The units supplied by UK Container Sales are built to a very high specification. The steel structure makes the storage containers waterproof, vermin proof and vandal proof. The most vulnerable part of a steel storage container is the doors, and for added security UK Container Sales recommend a steel lockbox to be fitted to the container doors.
Can you do conversions from shipping containers?
We have very experienced engineers who carry out conversions of shipping containers. They can convert a unit for extra office space, on-site washrooms and lavatories. Conversions to onsite kitchens and cooking facilities, even living space.

How is the shipping container transported to my site?
UK Container Sales will deliver the container, of your choice, direct to the site of your choice. We can transport our containers to virtually anywhere in the UK and assist with all other logistical requirements.
Do I need to take up any particular site preparation for the delivery of my shipping container?
The only requirement is that the area where the shipping container is to be positioned is level and firm, as the main problem with uneven surfaces is the opening and closing of the units doors. Sleepers or paving slabs can help to level up the container, and although it is the responsibility of the purchaser to make sure these requirements are met, our drivers will help with positioning the container where ever possible.
