Established in 1987 Tunley Rod & Bar have been the name that the construction, precast and fencing industries have come to trust and rely on. Whether it be for that panic dowel bar job needed yesterday, or high tolerance and complex cut & bent reinforcement that no one seems to be interested in, here at Tunley we take that all in our stride as if it’s just a normal requirement.

Situated to the north of Birmingham just off junction T6 of the M6 Toll road we have the ability to service all areas of the country with ease.

Fencing
Tunley Rod & Bar is a major manufacturer of fencing components in the UK. It supplies many of the leading fencing accessory companies and also fence, gate and wrought iron manufacturers. Specialising in plain round bar and fencing size flats gives us the economy of scale when purchasing from steel mills, in turn giving our customers the chance of a competitive edge in the market place. Our customer base has grown over the years by being able to offer a one stop shop for rod and bar products cut to length in different formats to suit the application, bending of bow top hoops and the punching of the flat rails.

Cut & Bent Reinforcement / Reinforcing Fabric
Tunley Rod and Bar have been "Cares" approved reinforcement fabricators since 1992 and have gained the reputation for their ability to hold the tight tolerances that are required by the concrete precast section of the construction industry. Over the years we have supplied reinforcement to many major precast construction projects such as The Dockland Light Railway, M65 bridge beams, B.A.A, Manchester Velodrome, Second Seven Crossing and many others.

Sawn Dowel Bars
Probably the largest dowel bar manufacturer in the UK we are the main supplier to most major cut and bent reinforcement and construction product / accessory companies. Our next day pallet service has become invaluable to many of our customers knowing that they can rely on Tunley Rod & Bar to deliver the goods when and where they are needed.

Not only do we offer the full range of popular dowel bar sizes we can also offer bespoke lengths. Our dowel bars conform to BS 13877 part 3 as detailed in the Highways Agency Series 1000 Specification for Highway works Clause 1011 Dowel Bars.
