We have a team of over 20 engineers and support staff based in Glasgow, dedicated to delivering a high quality service, with additional resources available through our associated offices in Reading and Harrogate.

All design work is undertaken on the latest industry software packages, with all contract communications managed through our integrated email and document management system.

Thermal modelling and dynamic simulation work is undertaken by our Low Carbon Consultant and support engineers, using IES Virtual Environment software.

To ensure our clients benefit from the highest level of service, Directors & Associates take a hands on approach with all projects and are committed to the ongoing training of our staff and the continual upgrading of our systems & procedures.

Davie + McCulloch Sustainable Design
Davie + McCulloch are committed to the use of sustainable design solutions wherever possible and have gained considerable experience in the design of sustainable engineering services and the implementation of low carbon & renewable technologies, over the last few years.

Developing sustainable designs requires the detailed analysis of a building's proposed geometry, construction and environmental performance, to establish anticipated energy usage figures and carbon emissions. This is undertaken through the use of dedicated modelling software and our Engineers and Low Carbon Consultant utilise IES Virtual Environment software for dynamic simulation modelling.

As well as calculating likely carbon emissions, the software also enables designers to check designs for compliance with the Building Regulations and prepare Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) and Display Energy Certificates (DEC).
