We operate a 24 Hour emergency repair service. Crane downtime can be very costly that is why we offer our mobile service. Engineers are on call out day and night to handle both routine and emergency repairs.

CRANE SERVICING & CONVERSION

Scottish Crane specialises in the supply of new cranes specifically designed to meet your operational needs.

We also have considerable expertise in the area of crane conversions including: from cabin or drum control to pendant, infra red or radio control, from DC to AC supply, and the replacement of bare copper conductors with modern shrouded conductor systems.

REFURBISHMENT
Scottish Crane can refurbish and upgrade most types of lifting systems.

We can alter spans, should you need to move one of your existing cranes, as well as carrying out complete mechanical and electrical overhauls. All work is carried out fast and efficiently by our highly skilled teams.

GANTRIES, RUNWAYS & MONORAIL SYSTEMS
Our engineers will put together the complete package to meet your lifting needs. Scottish Cranes in house design and manufacturing facility enables us to custom-build gantries, runways and monorail systems to the highest engineering standards.

MAINTENANCE PLANS
The best way to guard against costly breakdowns is a Scottish Crane maintenance contract. Regular servicing helps to maintain the overall efficiency of cranes and enables us to spot most faults before they become critical. Service log books are provided and updated after every service. Visits are scheduled to minimize operational disruption.

INSTALLATION & COMMISSION

INSTALLATION & COMMISSION
Whether installing a new or second hand crane, or simply moving a crane from one gantry to another, we have the necessary experience and expertise to conduct the work safely and with the minimum disruption.

Once installation is complete, we will carry out all the necessary running and proof load tests to commission and certify the equipment.

TESTING & INSPECTION
As an employer your company must ensure that all lifting equipment complies fully with current legal requirements.

Scottish Crane provides a complete testing and inspection service, both in house and on site, to cover all your lifting equipment.

LIFTING EQUIPMENT
Scottish Crane supplies a vast array of lifting equipment, such as chain slings, wire rope slings, fibre slings, shackles, eyebolts, chain blocks, tirfors, lever lifts, jacks and much more. In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply an item from stock, our highly competent sales staff will put in a priority order the same day.

Our scope of works covers all aspects of fabrication and engineering in lifting equipment From crane gantries, runway systems to lifting beams and specialised equipment, designed and built to suit the required application.

Additionally we manufacture and install general secondary steel including ladders, stairs, platforms, balustrading and general metalwork.
