All insulation work is fully approved and regulated by BBA and NSAI and an insurance backed guarantee is provided on all installs. New Build Customers
Energystore’s EPS bonded bead insulation system is ideal for all new builds. Energystore’s bonded bead insulation offers a cost-effective, full fill across the cavity ensuring no gaps or voids in insulation coverage. Energystore’s trained and regulated installer’s will arrive on site with all materials necessary to insulate the new build property. There is zero waste and no storage requirements. Energystore’s insulation material will satisfy all building regulations and can provide u-values of 0.15W/m2k.

Social Housing
Energystore has a proven track record on delivering tailor-made large scale cavity fill or extract and refill schemes. Energystore can provide detailed cavity surveys and thermal imagery to allow for an insight into existing insulation performance.

Services

Bead Manufacturing
Our raw material is essentially pellets of plastic the size of a grain of sand. These pellets contain a gas which acts as an expanding agent when heated. Using a steam process we heat the pellets which softens the plastic and makes the gas expand. As the plastic undergoes a process of expansion, it increases in size by up to 50 times with the finished product being made up of 98% air.

Cavity Wall Insulation
Energystore Ltd has been trading for over 40 years. Our cavity and loft insulation installers have insulated over 500,000 homes with cavity wall insulation.

Cavity Extraction
Energystore Ltd are industry specialists when it comes to cavity extraction. We are the first BBA accredited Cavity Clean Specialists in NI and have carried out over extractions in NI and ROI. All cavities are cleared of “old” insulation and debris, inspected and certified as being completely clear. Only when completely clear can a cavity then be filled with Energystore’s bonded bead. A Certificate of Clean is issued and a CIGA Guarantee is then applied for.

Loft Insulation
A staggering 25% of heat is lost through an un-insulated loft which is why current building regulations recommend 270mm (10”) of loft insulation in new properties. As cavity wall and loft insulation installers, Energystore offer a free survey of loft insulation to check the depth of your existing insulation and advise on any improvement.

Typically, insulation is topped up to 270mm by cross-laying to achieve optimum thermal resistance. We also check insulation of tanks and pipes to ensure that they conform to current standards. Items may still be stored in your loft by adding extra battens and loft boards to raise the storage area above the insulation depth.

Thermal Imaging
Energystore have been partners with IRT Surveys since 2014. IRT Surveys have developed and enhanced energy efficiency, energy loss and building defects. IRT Surveys use thermal diagnostics to determine energy loss estimation, structural defects, leak detection, preventative maintenance and electrical faults. The use of visual aids to quantify energy loss through a building allows for prioritising retrofit projects to optimise your budget.
