Multi-Storey Flats To Receive Open Spaces Upgrade

Construction News Image
Open spaces at a multi-storey flat complex in West Dunbartonshire are to receive a £155,000 upgrade.

The council has approved funding to regenerate the spaces in Dalmuir by creating dedicated seating areas and improving the landscaping.

Upgrades will be made to the areas surrounding the multi-storey flats and will complement an investment made at the blocks last year.

Funding for the project is to be provided by the Greenspace team and the Housing Revenue Account.

Councillor David McBride said: "The Council is delighted to be investing £155,000 into this extremely worthwhile project to develop the open spaces surrounding our multi-storey flats in Dalmuir. By creating more desirable and landscaped scenery it will help to improve the wellbeing of this community."

The designs and plans for the project are still to be finalised, while the Council will be consulting with tenants soon to listen to their views on what they want to see developed in the area.
